Trimbow® for COPD

When taken regularly, your Trimbow inhaler can help to manage symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing and cough in adult patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Trimbow can reduce exacerbations (flare-ups) of COPD symptoms.
Trimbow contains three medicines in one inhaler:
- beclometasone
- formoterol
- glycopyrronium
Beclometasone belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids, which help to reduce the swelling and irritation in the lungs.
Formoterol, a long-acting beta-agonist, and glycopyrronium, a long-acting muscarinic antagonist, are medicines that relax the muscles in the airways, helping to open them wider and allowing you to breathe more easily.
It’s important to take your medicine every day as prescribed
It is very important for you to use Trimbow regularly even though you may have no symptoms and are feeling well. Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor, nurse or pharmacist if you are not sure how to take your medication correctly.
Your doctor, nurse or pharmacist will advise you on how Trimbow should be taken in combination with any other medication and provide you with a COPD action plan to help you manage your respiratory symptoms.
Using your medicine
It’s important to use your inhaler correctly to get the full benefit from your medicine. The how to use video in the resources section below will help with this.
