What is Trimbow®?
Trimbow comes in an inhaler known as a pressurised metered dose inhaler (pMDI). This type of inhaler may be familiar to you. The resources section below includes a demonstration video on how to use the inhaler.
Trimbow contains three medicines in one inhaler:
- beclometasone
- formoterol
- glycopyrronium
Beclometasone belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids, which help to reduce the swelling and irritation in the lungs.
Formoterol, a long-acting beta-agonist, and glycopyrronium, a long-acting muscarinic antagonist, are medicines that relax the muscles in the airways, helping to open them wider and allowing you to breathe more easily.
When you click on any of the resources below, you will get a choice of an asthma or COPD option.
